The teaching of Reiki outside of Japan is commonly divided into three levels or grades. After completing the first degree, the participant can treat themselves and others with Reiki. In the second degree Reiki course, the student learns the use of three symbols intended to increase the force and distance over which the effect can be exerted. A further atonement is given, further increasing the ability of Reiki to flow through the student and empowering the use of the symbols.
In Reiki terminology, the word “master” does not mean spiritual enlightenment. After completing the master training, the new Reiki master can attune other people to Reiki and teach the three Reiki degrees. The duration of the master training can be from one day to a year or more, depending on the school and philosophy of the Reiki master conducting the training. There is no accreditation body for Reiki, nor is there any regulation of the practice.
Some traditionalists claim that any method that teaches Reiki “quickly” cannot produce as powerful an effect because there is no substitute for experience and patient mastery of the art.
Reiki practitioners can encourage their clients to seek medical advice for serious medical conditions and explain that Reiki can be used to complement conventional medicine. You may have tried yoga, meditation, or massage, but Reiki is a natural complement to these other healing and relaxation practices. Online Reiki Course offers online Reiki courses that are as close to personal life as possible. This allows you to ask questions, make comments, share experiences and get answers instantly, which makes the Audio Reiki course different from most other online Reiki courses. It also helps you gain confidence in your ability to use the Reiki energy. Once you have completed a course, a certificate proving your qualifications as a Reiki practitioner at the level you have completed will be sent to you either by email or by post depending on your preference.
To become a Reiki Master one does not have to dedicate oneself to teaching others, the Reiki Master level can be taken for one’s own pleasure or benefit.
- Level I Reiki connects the practitioner to the Reiki energy and teaches practical Reiki.
- Level II Reiki teaches the practitioner distant healing, or distant healing.
- Level III Reiki initiates the practitioner to become a Reiki Master.
Each level has its own set of atonements and techniques for the type of Reiki to be practiced. The Reiki Course Certificate states that you have received training, been initiated as an ADIISA Master/Teacher and are authorized to teach the ADIISA Energy System.
