MBBS course:
The MBBS stands for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, the name suggests two different degrees, but is actually a single degree. It is an undergraduate medical degree that deals with surgery and medicine. The MBBS course is currently 5.5 years in duration, comprising 4.5 years of curriculum and 1 year of compulsory training. The course duration of 4.5 years comprises a total of 9 semesters of 6 months each. During their studies, the students get to know the human body in depth, while they carry out practical experiments with a corpse during the training period.
Admission criteria for the MBBS course:
The general admission criteria for the MBBS course do not remain the same, but vary by country, university, college, etc. However, the basic criteria remain static for all candidates e.g. B. They have to be passed with good grades in subjects such as biology and physics and chemistry in class 10+2.
Candidates must appear for the pre-medical entrance exams in order to gain entry into the medical university or school.
The age limit plays an important role in order to be able to take part in the medical entrance tests. It can also differ from country to country. Typically, the candidate’s lower age limit must be at least 17 years of age on or before December 31 of the admission year, while the candidate’s upper age limit must be 25 years of age.
