importance of education

There are many definitions of education, but in a simple way, education is an act or process of imparting or acquiring general knowledge, building judgment and judgment, and general mental training of oneself or others for a more mature life.

Many underdeveloped countries today do not pay attention to the importance of education in society and this has resulted in most countries being undeveloped. I wonder what benefit will there be if most of these underdeveloped countries have people in government who are well educated and if they could give due attention to the education sector of the country so that the youth can develop and reposition the country, as they are called the leaders of tomorrow.

It is well known that education leads to success and I will discuss the importance of education and why I think education is the backbone of anyone who needs to change the world for the better. Education should never be underestimated as education is at the heart of every society. The knowledge to make new discoveries and to implement those discoveries for the success of any society can be achieved through education. Today’s growth in many developed countries can be attributed to the quality of the education that is given to the people. Well educated people are able to improve society by enacting reforms that lead to economic, social and political growth and development of society.

Education opens your mind to better understand the world around you and how things work. Learning about the different cultures and happenings in different places around the world is possible through education. Our horizons have been broadened through education so that we can’t just limit ourselves to what’s happening in our countries, but what’s happening around the world.

Good jobs today go to well-educated people, the President of the United States, Barrack Obama, emphasized when he said: “In an economy where knowledge is the most valuable asset that a person and a country can offer, the best jobs will go to the best educated – whether they live in the United States or India or China”. This statement shows how important education is in order to get the best jobs in society and to hold the best positions in companies.

Education helps you have confidence in life. You are able to plan your life effectively when you have an education as it helps to analyze life problems and find solutions to those problems you may be facing. Educated people are able to make decisions that can change life in a positive way as they have gained a lot of experience as they learn new things every day.

The importance of education is evident in developed countries as it plays an important role in personal and social development. Education has been used as a means of alleviating poverty, oppression and war as leaders are well-equipped with the knowledge to lead the country towards growth. In some countries there is a problem of overpopulation, which is one of the greatest concerns of mankind. The overpopulation can be attributed to a lack of proper and better education. Sex education must be taught to the youth of tomorrow.

Financial growth in life can be achieved through education. Instructions on how to manage money and how to invest it wisely are provided if you are well educated, as you will have a good understanding of the ways of starting your own business and reducing the risk of bankruptcy. Education has been used as an important tool to inform people about their rights and the services they have access to. In order to be able to distinguish between right and wrong, education plays a crucial role, as young people are taught what should and should not be done in society and how to be a responsible person in society.

After all, children need to understand the importance of education from an early age. This will help them be open minded and have the determination to learn new things since their brain is capable of assimilating new things when they are young.
